To make yourself invisible, you will need five black beans and the head of a dead man.
On wednesday morning, before the sun rises, put one bean in the head's mouth, two in it's eyes, and two in it's ears. Then draw on the head the symbol of your familiar spirit. Bury the head face up.
Every day, before sunrise, for nine days, water the head with brandy. On the eighth day, you will find the familiar spirit standing by the head. He will ask, "What are you doing?" You must say, "I am watering my plant." He will say, "Give me that bottle. I will water it myself." You must refuse until he stretches out his hand and shows you there the same symbol that you drew on the head. Then you will know you are talking with the right spirit. Give him the bottle of brandy. He will water the head and leave.
On the ninth morning, your beans will be ripe. Pop one into your mouth and you will be invisible. Put the rest in a safe place.
